As a student, eriol has a simple character. He lives at the same mansion where Clow Reed used to live. Eriol befriends Yamazaki Takahashi, which they partnered whenever they tell fiction/facts about histories of random stuffs.
Eriol first appeared in Episode 47. When he was introduced by their teacher, Eriol looked at Sakura which Syaoran noticed quickly. The time where Eriol arrived, series of events started that Sakura must again fight with Kero, Yue, and Syaoran. Eriol befriends Yamazaki Takahashi, which they partnered whenever they tell lies about histories of random stuffs. Which He and Yamazaki responds perfectly with each other, and Sakura sometimes believes their lies. If it is true or not, we don't know. Eriol knows how to play the piano as well, which made an event where Sakura must fight again. He also helped Sakura to finish her Teddy Bear for Yue, which again made an unfortunate event that Sakura must use her power to save them. Eriol has a nice disposition towards Sakura that made Syaoran usually jealous. Syaoran feels that Eriol is his rival towards his love to Sakura.
