One more week and school will commend.! I feel so much better because I already finished this site / portfolio before my school starts. Actually, before I send my letter of intent, peptropolis was sitting like a bum with nothing but anime graphics in it, but now it’s all my original artworks and designs. It feels so great to show it to anyone I know because everything is made by me from scratch. This past two weeks, I just started to advertise my site, and I receive some lovely comments from my dear friends from the philippines. Though they send it to me from yahoo messenger and from friendster. Ah~ I miss them so much. I also told my friend about it, [ sent her a message from Windows Live Messenger ] but she is still currently busy from her nursing studies. I hope she will drop by soon.

It seems like, the more you grow up, the more busy you get for your future aspirations and goals.

If you are currently wondering about my icon for this post, it is an ice cream on a cup. lol.. I made it a while ago after I got back from the outside world.. [Sorry, I can't tell the detail what I did today or where I went because that's not what my blog is about] Anyway, I made a lot of cute vector art images today and they are located in Pepdorables > below Enter Pepdorables. ^^ It’s a giveaway appreciation gift for my dear visitors. It’s my way of thanks. XD But for my male visitors, I don’t think they will appreciate it because the images are all cute and girly.. hahaha.. I doesn’t seem like it, but I am an appreciator for cute stuffs. I am actually a big fan of Winnie the Pooh since I was a little girl, but not a collector because my family is not rich. hahaha. Anyway, I just want to let everyone know about my Pepdorables’ Freebies that I did today.

By the way, I showed my site to my ex-classmate in the philippines who is currently in his last year for majoring Fine Arts: Advertising. I was embarrassed when I showed my site to him because he is much much better than me because he is an art student. T_T, so I was too afraid to know his reaction when he sees my artworks. Anyway, he said it was ok and he liked my digi artworks. I don’t believe him though. hahaha.

I first sketch The Architect [ the drawing on the right ] two days ago, and it end up the way I want though it looks a bit like a manga drawing which I am now changing. I aim to draw a more realistic drawing like the drawing in the left. Well, for now, I am joining both styles: the manga style and my original style. I am still learning so I think it is ok. The drawing: A gentleman riding his horse was drawn yesterday. I was reading Persuasion by Jane Austen last night, and I just felt like drawing after some hours of reading. I change how I draw the eyes because I wanted my drawing to look more like a human than a semi-realistic. This is my first time drawing a horse, so pardon the horse please. hehehe.. I really adore the stories from the Victorian era especially those romance stories. *blush* I like his hat, I haven’t seen a hat like that in person, and I would like to see one for real.

I like both of my drawings, but I would like to know your opinion about it.

I already found my drawing style with little boys, but my style in drawing men are still drawn differently. I am currently aiming to have my own style in drawing men which I plan to achieve soon.

I re-checked the sites that I applied for a link exchange. I waited until they updated and if they linked me back, but some didn’t, so I removed their link from my site. T_T But a lot did accept my link invitation, Thank you very much. Today, my parents went fishing again, but I stayed at home because I need to finish my Project 001 - a website that was asked me to do; I am nearly done!. Of course, I got bored, so I did this skecth on the left for a break time. I am having a hard time with my computer, because the memory is not too high for digital art, so I really need to draw in a small canvas T_T My mom told me, we can always buy a memory, but it’s about $500.00 so it’s expensive. For now, I just have to hang in there, and do my best with my computer which hangs when I do the detail with my artworks. That’s why all my digital artworks are not painted in detail because it slows and hangs my computer. But I still love and cherish my digi artworks ^^

This artwork called Wonder was done yesterday. It was suppose to be colored with purple and black, but I chose orange because I don’t like my art dark and creepy. Though he looks creepy.. lol,. I like how I did the nose though. I plan to do more “Edward Lockwood” artworks soon. Edward Lockwood is my character on my header. I started this art yesterday and was done last night. I did it with one sitting T_T Well that’s about it. I would like to say that I will be busy this week. I hope I will be able to finish my Project 001 tom. so that I can post it on my designs. ^^
