i don’t know what the name of this animation because i just played with imageready and manage to make it like this..
this animation is moving.. ehehe.. look at it closely..
i call it POPPING TEXT

ok let’s start the tutorial..
First, open ur imageready then open ur picture with everything on it.. suck as image, brush, text and etc.

Then duplicate the text and put it a little farther from the first text layer like this

Then make a new layer,

On the first layer make sure that the first text layer is visible and make the second layer invisible..
And on the Second layer make sure that the first layer is invisible and the second layer is visible..

and try to press play and it’s D-O-N-E

LET’s Start!

1. Make a new image, 100 x 100
2. Make a texture [ or open ] I made this texture from:
Color: DADADA i think.. or light gray
-> I used pencil to make the texture, 2 layers, softlight and I change the opacity
{ i won’t details on how I make this texture.. because I don’t remember the details..
I just randomly did it T_T}

3. Open your picture, change the size to fit on your icon size

4. Make a new layer —> top layer: Hard Light 90% or 100%

5. Add this color.. Exclusion 15%
{ so that it will be a little darker.. }

6. Use 27 round brush..
color: bloddy red —-> layer: screen

7. Add some texts
small text: any font, 1 px
Yoite text: i forgot the font, 12 pt

8. DONE!!!

viola.. another icon**~
Easy right?
save it as: .png

An old tutorial posted in imeem - 2008
here is one of my simple ways:

First, adjust your picture to fit 100 x 100 like so

Then make a new layer –> fill –> color: lime green –> opacity: 6%

Then make another new layer [ same instruction ], i don’t remember the name of the color though but this is the color

I added a texture to make an effect: ( soft light –> 60% )

Then Add brushes.. use Soft Round brush 200 pixels
I use the color dark green and dark blue on a new layer [ screen ]
Finally, I make a text below like so

How to make it? i put xxx [ Century Gothic - bold - 12px ]
and the tiny text beside the xxx [ any font - 1px ]

And viola! ur done.. simple right?
